description
The business requires members of staff to undertake both Level 4 Foundation and Level 6 Advanced Diplomas of Proficiency in Internal Communications. The course will provide a recognised qualification that covers and provides an understanding of the role and purpose of internal communication within an organisation and how it supports the achievement of overall business objectives. It will enable students to establish a practice of reflective thinking, leading to an enhanced ability to think critically and articulate ideas clearly using academic writing techniques.
Students would be able to demonstrate best practice when creating content to deliver a business message, including consideration of audience, channel and style, taking a pro-active, tailored approach to professional development and continuous learning. The ability to ensure students understand best practice in internal communications planning as well as their own role in the delivery of a communication campaign; they should also be able to develop an awareness of the impact of the workplace and the organisations external environment on internal communications and the delivery of business messages.
