Brief Description of Requirement

UKRI NERC is seeking experts to carry out a study to review the research and innovation landscape related to sector agnostic eco-labels with a focus on environmental science, to analyse the market and systems (e.g. challenges and drivers, market failures and barriers to change) and to recommend research and innovation gaps and opportunities to overcome challenges and enable change

This report is intended to inform the scoping of a prospective pre-competitive research and innovation programme for eco-labelling, either tailored to a specific sector or frameworks for broader business and industry, with a particular emphasis on understanding the potential contribution of the environmental sciences to address the business and/or policy challenges in a multi/interdisciplinary and whole-systems approach.
