GB-Colchester: Kitchens Modernisations 18/19

Colchester Borough Council (the Council) with Colchester Borough Homes as the Contract Administrator (CBH), wishes to commission the replacement of approximately 96 kitchens and all associated works as detailed within the attached specification.

These works are for the 2018/19 kitchen modernisations programme.

Works will include the removal of the existing kitchens and replacement with a new kitchen, wall tiles, kitchen floors and decorations etc.

The works are to be completed over a 30-week period and in accordance with the detailed specification supplied within the tender package.

Bidders are advised that not all properties have been surveyed and it will be the winning bidder's responsibility to ensure that surveys are carried out and drawings produced in line with the tenant's choice before works start. Drawings for a limited number of properties are available the zip file included in the tender pack.

The anticipated contract start date is Monday 2 July 2018 The expected contract end date is 31 March 2019 The expected completion date for issued works: end of January 2019

Additional works may be commissioned during the contract period at the sole discretion of the Council.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
