description

The D-Day Story, part of Portsmouth City Council, is inviting quotes from suitably qualified social media specialists to help the museum transform how we use social media.

The budget available is a fixed fee of ?8,000.

The deadline for responses is 6th November 2020 at 2pm. We estimate the project will take around 5 months.

In 2018 the museum reopened following a transformation process. Along with completely new exhibitions and displays, a new The D-Day Story brand has been created and implemented.

Our priority is to engage with families, young people and visitors with disabilities.

Our social media content and online audience does not reflect our brand. We would like to hire an organisation to help us engage our priority audiences, which are families, young people and visitors with disabilities.

Our social media channels are:

Facebook: @theddaystory

Instagram: theddaystory_portsmouth

Twitter: @theddaystory

YouTube: DDayMuseum

We are part of 6 museums and heritage sites run by Portsmouth City Council.

This project has been made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
