The scope of the services required for the cable diversion comprises of:

• Detail design
• Procurement
• Construction / Build
• Pre commissioning
• Support to commissioning ( by Others)

The cables comprise of Low Voltage (400v), High Voltage (11kV) Communication cables (telecontrol) to include civil infrastructure.

Located on a nuclear licensed site, external to the current onsite National Nuclear laboratory within the Sellafield site. Currently identified as eight cable diversion packages of work (D&B) and 1 Civil work package (Build to print) relating to the diversion and/or replacement of a number of cables owned by the Utilities department and provision of a new cable pit.

There is also a requirement to include the provision of new power supplies of 400V.

It is to be noted that it is estimated that 80% of the work is associated with Low voltage work.

Additional information: Provision of design and build services association with High 11kV, Low voltage 400V and associated control / telecontrol cable diversion.

Provision of civil infrastructure design and build to accommodate diversions, Cable ducts, Pits etc.
