Rivers House, Bridgwater Roof Repair Phase 2A

Following the completion of Phase 1 roof works at Rivers House Bridgwater, we are now inviting tenders for Phase 2A roof remedial works.

This will involve a targeted area of the roof (appendix 1) which consists of approx. 10 metres in length; 5 metres, either side of a gable to the west elevation; replacing the roof felt, batten and valleys.

We would request that the costs in the tender are broken down and itemised for each requirement. We would also highly recommend a site visit and survey of both exterior, and interior of the roof area is undertaken.

The Property

The property comprises of a two-storey office facility which is constructed of faced brickwork with pitched, hipped and gable end roofs over the main office. The pitched roofs comprise of concrete interlocking tiles with half round concrete ridge tiles to the hips and main ridge line of the roof. The roof has sarking felt underlay below the concrete tiles and valley gutters that are formed with a GRP type liner.

Phase 2 A Area

To note, the targeted area is adjacent to the main road, the exterior of the roof would need to be accessed via scaffolding due to the grassed area below.
