Lewisham CCG and the London Borough of Lewisham are seeking expressions of interest for the re-commissioning mental health advocacy services. Advocacy support is offered to people (and/or carer) are experience substantial difficulty in:
| • | Understanding and or retaining information that has been given to them |
| • | Using this information in making a decision about the mental health treatment and care; and or |
| • | Communicating their wishes views and feelings (whether by talking, using sign language or any other means) about the treatment and care that they are receiving |
The Integrated Advocacy Service that is being commissioned comprises of
| • | Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy |
| • | Independent Mental Health Advocacy |
| • | Care Act Advocacy |
| • | General mental health Advocacy |
The commissioning authority would welcome tenders from a single provider or a partnership between providers in delivering this Integrated Advocacy service
The tender will be run using the OJEU restricted procedure with the successful provider being awarded a contract for 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
