Pre-Tender Market Engagement Event for Full Body MSK Physiotherapy Services

NHS Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley CCG and NHS Swale CCG are expecting to commence a formal procurement for Full Body Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy services across DGS and Swale CCG catchment area.

The Commissioners are looking to get early engagement with potential Providers and Sub-contractors and the market in general who share our passion and commitment and who are dedicated to providing the very best choice, service and patient care standards.

In particular the commissioners would like to discuss plans with the market to understand capacity and the ability of Providers to deliver the services.

The service will look to provide early assessment, diagnosis and treatment of MSK conditions; it will treat patients quickly and effectively before their condition becomes chronic and more complex to treat. In partnership with the patient, treatment goals and a plan of intervention will be agreed, in accordance with the diagnosis and prognosis of the condition. The service will educate and support patients and their carers with their conditions and offer advice on management of daily activities, preventative measures, equipment and health promotion to improve patient experience.

The full service specification will be published as part of the procurement process. However, the CCG would like to get potential Provider and Sub-contractor views and ideas as well as assess current market appetite to provide these services.

A market engagement event relating to these contracts will be held on Wednesday 13th January 2016, 09:30 to 12:00 in the Philip Farrant Education Centre at Darent Valley Hospital, Darenth Wood Road, Dartford DA2 8DA.
