description

Oxford has long needed a large public square, but this is particularly important this summer while social distancing remains in place. Oxford City Council (OCC) working with partners, is seeking to temporarily part- pedestrianise Broad Street as 'a critical city centre restart project to promote the safe use of the city centre'. The estimated time period is four months from late June 2021 - late September 2021 and a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be required. The project will create one of Oxford's largest public squares.
