Within these pillars there are several significant work programmes which will need to be factored into the economic analysis including (but not limited to):
- Development of the Generalist School
- Moving the Point of Registration with the GMC
- Initiatives to address Health Inequalities, most notably through the (re) distribution of medical training posts
- Increasing flexibility within PGME, specifically through increasing availability of Less Than Full Time (LTFT) training and facilitating doctors in training stepping out and stepping into (SouSi) training
- Aligning medical training with emerging Integrated Care Systems".
