Diabetes - Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) Technology

NICE is undertaking a Technology Appraisal (TA) for hybrid closed loop systems (HCL) for managing blood glucose levels in type 1 diabetes. As part of this TA, NHS England have been requested by NICE to assist NICE with gathering information on the pricing of HCL technologies. The outputs of this information gathering exercise will inform the NICE Appraisal Committee as to whether HCL can be recommended as a cost-effective treatment option for eligible patients.

NHS Supply Chain, as the primary NHS co-ordinator of the supply of this technology, have been requested to undertake this Request for Information process on behalf of NHS England, which is, in itself, acting to assist NICE.

Candidates wishing to complete the Request for Information must register their expression of interest.

The Request for Information document is available within the Jaggaer eProcurement Portal.

If registration has been completed:

-Click on the "Supplier Dashboard" icon and select "Early Engagement" towards the top right of the screen to open the list of Early Engagement Notices. Search for the Early Engagement Notice for 'Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) Technology.

• Express an interest by clicking on the 'EXPRESS INTEREST' button.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DOCUMENT
