description
The British Library is seeking to purchase a broad featured ECM system, as well an implementation partner to assist with its installation, configuration, and roll-out over 12-18 months in two substantial pilot projects.
The purpose of this RFI is to establish indicative pricing, hosting models, licensing structures, and procurement routes, so as to allow the Library to seek bids that most closely match the Library's needs in the most efficient way possible.
When submitting information, all organisations should note that this is not currently a tender opportunity, but is part of a market consultation exercise aiming to ensure that the procurement route selected and the options ultimately developed for the procurement are properly informed. The British Library is inviting potential providers to comment and informally discuss options and possible business solutions. At this stage, no final decision has been taken on the precise procurement route to be followed.
