description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 30 November 2016 for the following reason: Due to technical issue notice was not published therefore we have extended the submission deadline to 16th December 2016 at 17:00To provide a (pilot) project training Aldwyck customers throughout its areas of operation to maximise use of digital communication and financial management tools. This is not an introduction to IT/Digital Inclusion. It is suggested that the delivery will be small groups (up to 14 per cohort), up to 6 sessions per cohort. Delivery to take place between January – March 2017.

This project will equip tenants with the core digital skills to manage their daily activities using a digital platform e.g. online banking, comparison website, accessing Aldwyck’s online portal etc. to reduce financial exclusion and maximise the money they have. It will improve the engagement between the business and its customers.

The supplier must:

•Develop digital inclusion training content – with a focus on financial inclusion achieved through digital means

•Encourage a channel shift by teaching residents how to interact with Aldwyck’s online portals – and other organisations, including social media •Manage communications with participants and deliver digital inclusion training content

Training material should include (but is not limited to) the following topics:

Utilising Online Banking

Changing utilities

Managing Budgets

Benefits claim advice (if applicable)

Maximising income

Job search (if applicable)

Utilising Aldwyck’s online portals

Setting up social media accounts – inc. Linked in, Twitter & Facebook Using Emails

Maximising the use of mobile devices

Aldwyck Housing Group will undertake the marketing mail out for the courses to its customers/residents. The supplier must have the capability of independently handling applications to the training courses and communicating with potential participants, holding waiting lists and allocating participants to available courses, and notifying participants when and where courses will take place.

It is expected that participants will be trained on the devices available to them (laptops, phones, tablets), but some will require use of training equipment provided by the trainer as part of the delivery. Aldwyck will not provide this equipment.

The cost of venue hire is included in the overall project delivery cost, and to be arranged by the supplier. Where appropriate Aldwyck venues can be utilised (at no cost where possible). A fully inclusive fee is, therefore, required.

Provide a full and comprehensive evaluation of the training and impacts achieved for customers. The outcome of the contract will help determine if a whole business roll out is feasible.

Payment will be based on the number of participants successfully completing the course. A fee per successful participant will form part of the quotation. Between 48 (minimum) and 75 participants will be expected to complete.

All suppliers must be approved supplier of Aldwyck Housing Group before any contract can be confirmed.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
