Invitation to tender for Marketing Southend to Northern Holland

London Southend airport operates a route to Groningen, Northern Holland.

Southend on Sea Borough Council is leading on a project to reach out to target markets in Northern Holland to visit Southend and contribute to local economic success linked to the airport’s destinations.

We seek a marketing specialist to provide a concept, plan and media programme to deliver increase bookings to Southend via this route. Success of the campaign will be measured in partnership with airport and hotel partners.

Specific knowledge and track record of delivery over international markets, understanding the Southend tourism offer and the Northern Holland marketplace will be essential.

The marketing budget is £50k, expressions are required to demonstrate how this would be maximised in the marketplace.

Working to a tight timetable to meet the funding objectives and within GREAT UK branding guidelines will be required. The project should start in Autumn 2015 and will conclude by 31 March 2016.

Your submission should be received no later than 12 noon on Monday 5th October.

The returned expressions will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 50% for price, 30% for innovation and 20% for quality.
