description
First aid training courses will be held in MOD Main Building, Whitehall, London. There is no on-site car parking available.
Suppliers are required to provide a track record of providing First Aid Training and in particular using Laerdal Headstart Defibrillators, with their EoI, as only suppliers with such a track record will be down selected to be invited to tender. Suppliers must also be able to deliver all stated training & consumables items.
| • | First Aid at Work Training, which is to include defibrillator training, to be delivered in Main Building approximately 3 times a year with a maximum of 12 people on each course. |
| It should be noted that Main Building uses Laerdal Heartstart defibrillators. | |
| • | First Aid at Work Refresher Training, to include defibrillator training, to be delivered in Main Building twice a year. |
| • | Scenario training (course content to be discussed and arranged with service provider), to be delivered in Main Building, once a year to a maximum of 3 hours duration. |
| • | Training rooms will be booked on behalf of the service provider with prior notification and calling notices etc. being arranged on behalf of the service provider by the Authority. |
| • | All training aids and equipment is to be provided by the service provider and will include, but is not limited to, the following: |
| CPR Mannequin torso (adult, child and baby) | |
| Dummy defibrillator machine | |
| Face shields, bandages etc. | |
| • | The following First Aid consumables: |
| Face shields | |
| Clinical waste bags | |
| Defibrillator battery and pads | |
| • | All service provider trainers are required to hold SC clearance and will therefore need to undertake vetting. |
