The Department for Transport works with our agencies and partners to support the transport network that helps the UK’s businesses and gets people and goods travelling around the country. The Authority plan and invest in transport infrastructure to keep the UK on the move.
DfT(c) has an existing direct internet link at its office in Great Minster House, London. This link has been in place for over five years and traffic volumes are expected to increase beyond their capacity (currently 100Mbps). DfT(c) was looking to replace this link with a new one offering higher capacity.
