**Please be advised that due to the unprecedented nature of the current COVID19 situation and the resulting effect on resources across Health & Social Care organisations this procurement process has been temporarily paused during the evaluation stage. Therefore, the contract award will be delayed.

The current situation will be reviewed regularly and the procurement process will continue once it is appropriate to do so. This notice will be updated once the process has resumed.

Interim contracts will be put in place with the current providers of the service to ensure service continuity during this time.**

NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS), acting on behalf of Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of Lead Employer Arrangements - Public Health Trainees, London and Kent Surrey and Sussex & General Practice Trainees, North and South London.

Lot 1 - Public Health Speciality Trainees - London and Kent Surrey and Sussex Lot 2 - General Practice Specialty Trainees - North London Lot 3 - General Practice Speciality Trainees - South London

The contract start date for Lot 1 (Public Health Lead Employer) will be the 1st August 2020 however there will be mobilisation period (implementation phase) which will commence as soon as the contract is signed which is expected to be mid-April. This will allow for appropriate time for the implementation phase for the contract to commence by 1st August 2020.

The contract start date for Lots 2 and 3 (GP Lead Employers) will be 1st September 2020 however there will be mobilisation period which will commence as soon as the contract is signed which is expected to be mid-April. This will allow for appropriate time for mobilisation period for the contract to commence by 1st September 2020.

The contract period will be for five years.

Maximum contract value per Lot:

Lot 1 Public Health £374,000 over term of 5 years Lot 2 General Practice North London £3,225,750 over term of 5 years Lot 3 General Practice South London £1,724,250 over term of 5 years

All figures are excluding VAT.

Additional information: The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is Friday 24 January 2020 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted. The e-portal system will shutdown at 12:00pm and any un-submitted bids not registered to the system at this time will not be accepted.
