WCC Cleaning Consumables

Warwickshire County Council are looking for a supplier that can provide and deliver cleaning consumable products and equipment.

Warwickshire County Council (THE COUNCIL) currently have multiple suppliers providing multiple lines of similar cleaning consumables and janitorial goods. As part of this procurement exercise, THE COUNCIL hope to combine the purchase volume, consolidate the supply base and unify the products used across Warwickshire sites without jeopardising quality.

This will aid THE COUNCIL objectives to continue to deliver its quality cleaning services but also look to make improvements on the standards, streamline the number of stock products held and have a supplier onboard to be able to drive THE COUNCIL visions, which are to be to be a County with a sustainable future which means adapting to and mitigating climate change, budgetary constraints, and meeting net zero commitments. This supplier will offer THE COUNCIL cleaning services all the products, tools, and equipment required to deliver our cleaning services to a portfolio of properties across the Warwickshire County.

It is critical to our service delivery model that we have the required products, equipment, and tools, which are discussed in detail within the pricing document, to be able to consistently deliver our cleaning services to our customers at an excellent standard throughout.

It is desired that consolidating products will unify the cleans across Warwickshire sites and make stock management simple. It is hoped that partnering with one supplier to provide all cleaning consumables will allow the Council to work in conjunction for innovation.

Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (In-Tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.

During the course of the contract period the range and scope of these services may be subject to modification and variation to meet the changing needs and requirements of the Council, potential changes in legislation and the changing demands placed on the Council by its customers.
