GB-Edinburgh: Replacement Beacons at Grocis Sgeir and Cleit Rock

Construction of replacement beacons at Grocis Sgeir, Sound of Harris and Cleit Rock, Cuan Sound.

Site visits are planned week commencing 02 October 2018 please contact John Marr to confirm attendance, please note that this element is noted as a pass or fail within the evaluation criteria.

This requirement will include the fabrication of the structures and we intend to award the contract during November 2018 with the planned installation completed at the start of February 2019.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

The project will be divided into 2 Lots due to the separate locations. Lot 1 - Grocis Sgeil and Lot 2 - Cleit Rock.

Tenderers will be able to bid for one Lot, or both.

The contract may be awarded to a single Contractor for both sites, or two separate contracts being awarded, depending on the outcome of the evaluation.

The same evaluation criteria in the tender document will apply for both lots.
