EXPERIMENTATION DATA CAPTURE OVERVIEW OF USER FOR ARMY WARFIGHTING EXPERIMENT 2018
The Army Warfighting Experiment 2018 (AWE18), Autonomous Warrior (Land) (AW(L) is the Army's premier experimentation activity for 2018, taking place in and around Salisbury Plain between 12 November 2018 and 12 December 2018.
A stand-alone system, deployed to personnel through portable handheld devices, is required to assist in the planning, designing, conducting, collecting and reporting of information gathered during AWE18. The requirements of the system are:
| - | the ability to have specific experiment design/data loaded prior to the experiment commencement date. |
| - | to capture and collate real time multimedia data from a variety of sources such as photo, video and text. |
| - | to collect time and location specific information against pre-set criteria, for a variety of different equipment. |
| - | to take information gathered to produce reports in a variety of standard text formats on equipment performance. |
| - | to be able to produce evidence (based on inputs) to enable the evaluation of performance against pre-set criteria of individual and groups of equipment during the experiment. |
| - | to withstand potential adverse weather conditions. |
| - | to permit data collected during experimentation to be shared between users and extracted and stored by the user. |
| - | to be a secure system for the users access only for the duration of the contract |
| - | no experimentation data collected by the user will be held by the contractor at the end of the experimental period. |
| - | 50 portable hand held devices will be required from between 1st November 2018 and 31st December 2018. |
| - | provision of train-the-trainer for 5 'super-users' for the systems will be required prior to the experiment commencement date. |
