NHS England - Market Engagement for Out of Hours Dental Care for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Somerset, North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire

Open early engagement - This is an idea in the early stages of development which is open to input from industry.

NHS England South Region is reviewing the way patients in the South West access out of hours dental care services during the time dental practices are closed.

Prior to any formal procurement process, NHS England South Region is carrying out a pre-procurement market engagement events and is keen to meet and engage with prospective Providers to discuss the proposed service specification and model.

Commissioners will give a presentation setting out the possible options of providing Out of Hours Dental services in Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Somerset, North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire . Following the presentation providers will be invited to attend individual sessions with commissioners to discuss possible ideas for the service in more detail.

There will be two Market Engagement Events held on Wednesday 21st October 2015. Both events will contain the same content and will be delivered by the same commissioners. Interested parties need only attend one of the events.

The first Market Engagement Event will be held in Taunton. The event will start at 1.30pm and is expected to run through to 4.30pm.

The second Market Engagement Event will be held in Saltash. The event will start at 7.00pm and will run through to 10.00pm if required.

A draft specification will be issued to interested providers upon receipt of a completed attendance form.
