ESCC - PS - RFQ - Partnership for People and Place: Energy Efficiency Home Assessments & Engagement Activity

East Sussex County Council is one of thirteen local authorities selected by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) to deliver a place-based project as part of the Partnerships for People and Place ("PfPP") programme. The Council's PfPP project aims to design and pilot ways of more effectively tackling fuel poverty and poor energy efficiency in three wards in Hastings and St Leonards, to secure positive outcomes for residents' health and the environment. The Target Areas have been chosen because a large proportion of residents are living on low income, in fuel poverty, in energy-inefficient properties and with limiting long-term illness or disability.

The services to be performed under the contract include engagement activity with households in the Target Areas, the provision of energy efficiency home assessments to around one hundred and fifty households in the Target Areas, post-assessment support to all of those households, as well as installation of small measures. The assessments must be completed by 31 March 2023.
