My Life Services - Framework for Care and Support Services

Wakefield Council is re-opening the Framework for the provision of district wide care and support services for people with Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Acquired Brain Injuries.

Packages of care are commissioned from the Framework on a spot purchase basis for individuals or via mini competition for larger, more complex packages involving multiple service users. The Framework offers no guarantee of any level or value of business to any Service Provider appointed onto the Framework.

The procurement documentation used to setup the My Life Services Framework Agreement that was issued by the Council on 28 June 2017 informed potential bidders that the Council was to re-open the Framework at the 2 year point so that new providers may join. Therefore this procurement process is being undertaken in order to appoint new providers for the final 2 years of the Framework Agreement. The same application process and evaluation criteria as detailed in the original Invitation to Tender is being used for the procurement process.

Previous applicants may apply.

Existing Providers appointed to the Framework do not need to re-apply; their position on the Framework Agreement will remain in force.
