SPS 2298 - Homecare and Extra Care tender

The Royal borough of Greenwich is preparing to tender our provision of homecare (domiciliary care) services, comprising the current borough-wide homecare services, together with our three extra-care services and two specialist home care services for people with palliative needs or learning disabilities. We intend to commission a neighbourhood model that will support closer working with other services available in the neighbourhood, such as primary and community health care and voluntary sector services.

The introduction and commissioning of a 'Local Neighbourhood Care Network' model will include the division of the Borough in to localities. This event will describe and outline the service specification, model and changes to care provision. It will include information on the tendering process, timeline and criteria.

RBG intends to award this contract for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to 4 further years, making a total possible period of 7 years.
