description

The existing transformer 3A is to be isolated from the ring main unit. The transformer 3A requires to be removed. A new Schneider RN2C RMU close coupled to a transformer is to be installed where the transformer 3A is. The HV/LV cables for the new 3A RMU are also to be installed. The new installation will be tested and commissioned.

Following the completion of the 3A RMU installation and upgrade work for the generator cables supplying to section A of sub 3 main LV panel (Generator cables upgrade is not part of this tender),the existing transformer 3B are to be isolated from the existing RMU. The existing transformer 3B is to be removed. New Schneider RN2C RMU closes coupled to a transformer are to be installed where the transformer 3B is. The HV/LV cables for the new 3B RMU are also be installed. The new 3B RMU installations are being tested and commissioned.

Pressure testing of the new HV network equipment, once installed, with satisfactory results, is required.

All HV cabling used is to have a voltage rating of 11kV and be built to BS6622.

Finally, the existing RMU will be decommissioned and removed from the system.
