TMBC East Gibson Refurbishment

Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council are seeking a skilled and capable contractor for refurbishment and associated external works to be undertaken to Gibson Building, Gibson Dr, Kings Hill, West Malling ME19 4LZ.

Project Overview:

This project involves the refurbishment of the Gibson East building, including the removal of a corridor link to the Grade II-listed Gibson West, with remedial works to the facade. The scope includes the provision of new spaces within the ground floor layout, new heating and mechanical systems throughout, new external doors/windows, PV installation, and upgrades to parking and internal circulation. Additionally, a plant enclosure, external store, refuse store, and cycle shelter will be added, enhancing both functionality and sustainability.

Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm 21st February 2025

Evaluation: 24th February to 14th March 2025

Appointment of contractor: 8th April 2025
