UK delivery of the EU Ecolabel Regulation

2. The EU Ecolabel (also known as the Flower) is the official EU environmental product labelling scheme, and is an EU-wide scheme for products that meet tough environmental criteria. It was established in 1992 and has been revised a number of times, most recently in 2009 (Regulation (EC) No. 66/2010).
2. The scheme enables businesses to use the scheme’s flower logo to show that their product(s) meets high environmental standards. It is intended to encourage businesses to put on the market products which meet these standards, and make it easier for consumers to identify high performing products in environmental terms.
