The University requests expressions of interest from suitably qualified, accredited and experienced contractors to participate in a tender exercise to deliver fire precaution works comprising of the replacement of the fire detection and emergency lighting system and installation of smoke extract system. Location: Lecture Theatre Building at the University of Essex (Colchester Campus), Wivenhoe Park, Colchester, Essex CO4 3SQ.

The successful Contractors will be required to meet the following programme: :

Extract ventilation works 22nd December 2017, remainder of works 28th February 2018.

The University of Essex will use Constructionline and the PAS91 Question set to reduce the administrative burden on bidders wishing to apply for this opportunity. If you are already registered with Constructionline, you will not need to complete the full PAS91 Question set, simply supply your Constructionline membership number and complete the project specific supplementary questions in the tender pack. However, you must ensure that your Constructionline profile is up to date and information held on your company is accurate and that you are registered for the work categories related to the following, with a notational value of over £350,000

For members of Constructionline, please ensure that any changes to your Constructionline profile are made by 5pm on 17th October 2017 to ensure any changes can be made to your information held by Constructionline prior to the closing date of this notice.
