The Commissioner will be holding a Market Engagement Event on Wednesday 1st November 2017 in London to discuss the Specification and capacity requirements with all interested providers. An advert for the Market Engagement Event will be placed on Contracts Finder and OJEU - Reference NHS/SoEPS/17.372. ** NHS South of England Procurement Services, acting on behalf of Health Education England (the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the delivery of a Clinically Enhanced Pharmacist Independent Prescribing (CEPIP) Programme for HE London and the South East.

The CEPIP programme delivers a GPhC-accredited Pharmacist Independent Prescribing module (IP), blended with enhanced clinical content including clinical health assessment and diagnostics. CEPIP offers the 'hands on' training opportunities to produce the pharmacist of the future - a practitioner with advanced skills to confidently and competently manage patients with health assessment, diagnostic and clinical examination skills comparable with that of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

Key objectives:

CEPIP has been successfully delivered in the West Midlands since 2014, but will be new to the LaSE region.

The contract value will be a maximum envelope of £1,560,000 (inclusive of VAT) for three years.
