The British Embassy in Kabul represents the British Government in Afghanistan. It is headed by the British Ambassador to Afghanistan, who is the representative in Afghanistan of Her Majesty the Queen.

The contractor will be required to provide 24/7 satellite service and support to the British Embassy. The contract will cover the provision of services for all staff accommodation and office space.

A reliable, good quality Satellite TV service is essential for staff welfare and official use at the Embassy.

Requirement

-A wide range of English language channels, including Sports, Movies, News and Entertainment. Some regional/local channels, in particular news channels.
-New Satellite dish/cabling equipment.
-The option for internet based TV services.
-A 24/7 call-out service, with the expectation that repairs are carried out the same day.
-A routine service visit at least once per month.
-Completions of a service register by the contractor, which is monitored monthly by the Authority.
-Responsible for the upkeep of the "TV shack", situated on the Egyptian site.
