The Department for International Trade is seeking to procure a revised Security Export Strategy which will include;
- An overview of the size of the market internationally (in value terms), and the UK's contribution to these numbers.
- A summary of the UK security sector's strengths arranged by capability/sub-sector, in particular identifying where these strengths differ from, or are in addition to, those identified in the 2014 strategy.
- An analysis of current trends in the sector.
- Highlights of the current high-value/high-volume exporting opportunities in the sector, organised by country.
- Identification of the challenges that UK companies face in the market, particularly in the B2B space
- An outline of approaches/methodologies that could be implemented to counter these challenges.
- A summary of the support which is available to potential exporters, and the UK Government's offer to overseas customers.
