Supply of a Hybrid Powered Mini-Excavator (Mini Tender)

The University of Birmingham is constructing a brand new state-of-the-art National Buried Infrastructure Facility (NBIF) - an experimental research facility for the investigation of Buried Infrastructure, expected completion early 2019. The £27.6M NBIF is part of the £217M UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure and Cities (UKCRIC) that will form a co-ordinated set of interlinked national laboratories. The excavator is required primarily to load or distribute soils / sands / aggregate within the research pit environment. In order to do this, the following features are seen as essential.
