***THIS ADVERT IS FOR A MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT ONLY***
NHS Arden and GEM CSU, on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull CCG are looking to run a procurement process to appoint a single provider for the provision of a Type 2 Diabetes Patient Education Service.
The commissioner ran an initial market engagement event on 4th March. However, in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, requirements have changed, and the Commissioner now wishes to hold a further engagement event to work changes through with the market before going to procurement. In particular, the CCG is looking to examine how the service might be offered digitally. They also wish to discuss how they can best assist providers in reaching members of the BAME community.
The commissioner intends to run the Market Engagement via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, 10th September at 2pm. Full instructions on how to access the event will be sent to you by return once you register. In order to book a place, please visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/type-2-diabetes-patient-education-service-market-engagement-event-tickets-115844890185.
As part of the engagement process, the commissioner is making the service specification available for providers in advance of the engagement event, and this is attached to this advert. Providers are asked to share any queries or suggested improvements to the specification that they may have at the event.
Input gained from the market as part of the market engagement process will be used to inform the final service specification.
