ESPO will be undertaking a procurement process to identify and appoint suppliers for the supply and distribution of a comprehensive range of bulk, single and multi-portion Confectionery, Snacks, Sweets and Single and Multi-Portion Cakes and Biscuits (and related products) and Impulse Ice Cream direct to eligible end user establishments.
The requirement will be split into 3 Lots as follows:
Lot 1 - Confectionery, Sweets, Snacks and Cakes - is for the direct supply of bulk, single and multi-portion Confectionery, Snacks and Sweets;
Lot 2 - Cakes and Biscuits - is for the direct supply of Single and Multi-Portion Cakes and Biscuits (and related products);
Lot 3 - Impulse Ice Cream - is for the direct supply of Impulse Ice Cream and related products (principally tubs, cornets and single serves).
Lot 3 - No tenders or requests to participate were received or all were rejected.
An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call-off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.
As a Central Purchasing Body as defined by the EU Procurement Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, the Framework Agreement is open for use by the following classifications of user throughout all administrative regions of the UK: Local Authority Councils; Educational Establishments (including Academies); Central Government Departments and Agencies and Local Government Departments and Agencies; Police, Fire and Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services; NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services; Registered Charities; Registered Social Landlords; any Public Body established by or under the Scotland Act 1998 or any Act of the Scottish Parliament.
