description
The University of Nottingham wishes to establish a Framework Agreement with a sole contractor to carry out ad-hoc Moves, Adds and Changes work on their voice and data cabling infrastructure across the University UK campus network.
Work will involve carrying out physical and software based moves and changes on the voice and data cabling networks, including installation of structured and non-structured cabling outlets, jumpering and patching of data cables, moving voice/data services within an existing cabling infrastructure, installing new copper and/or fibre optic cabling both within buildings and externally.
Key Objectives:
- To provide an effective and reliable mechanism for delivering voice and data services to Schools and Departments within the University within agreed timescales and within a defined pricing framework
- To be able to demonstrate the highest level of quality of service for provision of voice & data services
- To maximise Value for Money for the University
- To meet the high expectations and environmental challenges associated within our Green IT Policies
It is proposed that this Framework Agreement will operate initially for two years effective from 1st March 2016; however, the framework may be extended on an annual basis dependent upon performance up to a maximum of four years.
