description

Quotations are sought from parties interested in delivering effective co-ordination of Liverpool’s Prevent strategy on behalf of Citysafe (Liverpool's Community Safety Partnership).

The purpose of the service is to help drive the delivery of the national Prevent strategy in the local authority area, working with partners at a local, regional and national level, including the Office of Security and Counter-Terrorism (OSCT) Prevent.

The service will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and communication of all aspects of the local authority’s ‘Prevent’ work to ensure compliance with the Prevent Duty as set out in the Counter Terrorism and Securities Act 2015.

The programme is expected to be for a period of approximately 9 months.

The total amount available for co-ordination is £40,000.

The project is externally funded until March 2017 with an annual review and is subject to continued funding from the Home Office.
