description

The Resilient Heritage programme is a single-round programme that will provide grants of between £3,000 and £250,000. It is available to organisations in the UK who want to build their capacity or achieve significant strategic change - through acquiring new skills or knowledge, or new models of governance, leadership, business and income - in order to improve management of heritage for the long term.

The Heritage Lottery Fund through this procurement exercise is seeking Mentors with appropriate specialist knowledge, skills and experience who must be available to support and mentor successful delivery of the projects we fund across the whole of the UK. The mentor role on any individual project will be defined at the time of commissioning. You must be able to demonstrate Mentoring skills and be an expert in your specialist area(s).

The Mentor will provide advice and guidance to the project relevant to a particular area(s) of expertise. Mentors are expected to be recognised experts in their field, willing to engage with applicants and grantees to guide them towards achieving best practice.

Individuals will need to demonstrate relevant high level knowledge and experience in their particular specialist field along with demonstrable mentoring capabilities.

A proven track record of advising on and mentoring in one or more type of heritage setting is desirable.
