WP3675 Asbestos Removal

Walsall Council wishes to procure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver Walsall Council's Asbestos Remediation works to various buildings occupied and managed by the Council and any third party organisations that purchase this service through the Council.

The Council is looking to appoint 1 [one] Supplier for this Contract, to deliver Asbestos Removal services as outlined in the technical specification in these documents. This service shall be required to cover a 24hour/365 day period including bank holidays.

These services will be required to a range of Council owned and managed buildings; a list of properties has been issued as part of these ITT documents. Walsall Council reserves the right to add or remove properties to this list as changes to the property portfolio occurs during the life of the contract.

The procurement process being used is the Open Procedure. This process has been advertised in the Find a Tender Service and will be completed in compliance with The Public Contract Regulations 2015 with reference to The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020.

The contract is due to start on 1 April 2021 for an initial three year period, with options to extend for a further two 12 month periods, subject to satisfactory performance and business need.

The deadline for tender submissions is Monday 8 March 2021 at 12:00 midday.

Social Value

The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 will apply to this procurement. All bidders will be asked to respond to the non-price criteria question set out in ITT Section C.
