SBC CP Purchase, Supply and Installation (including miscellaneous works) of Play Equipment at Various Children's Centres in Slough

Slough Borough Council is the Lead and Accountable Body for Slough's network of 10 Children's Centres. The Centres comprise of four Full Service Centres supported by six graduated Centres.

These Centres were designed to showcase early years practice supported by integrating wider early childhood services, family support and adult and community learning across the early years sector.

The Council has made significant contributions to the management of Centres and is financially supporting the development of the outdoor areas to enhance the offer for children and families using the centres on a daily basis, whilst preserving our assets and equalising the opportunities for children to learn through their play in a range of contexts. In line with the early years curriculum, the Early Years Foundation Stage, promotes equal importance on the continuous provision of the use of the outdoors as well as the indoors.
