Electric Street Cleaning Vacuum

North Lincolnshire Councils Street Cleansing department are ambitious in our plans to modernise, increase efficiencies and improve our town centre cleanliness standards while supporting our ambitious plans to become carbon neutral by 2030.

To support these plans we are looking to procure one new fully electric, Self-propelled, Chargeable Street Cleaning Vacuum machine on a 'Hire to buy' basis.

The Machine should have a waste hopper capacity of at least 240 litres and the facility to spray disinfectant to enable the washing down of street furniture.

The machine must be fully chargeable through a standard UK three pin plug socket and require no additional electrical infrastructure upgrades to be installed. The daily battery life should last at least 8 hours before requiring charging.

The main control arm (suction hose) must have the ability to be used by both left and right handed operatives.

The device must have an appropriate exhaust Air Filtration system to reduce dust and other particles from being expelled into nearby passing foot traffic with an on board filtration self-cleaning mechanism.

The machine/livery must be provided in White with our corporate logo in black.

Payment terms should be priced as follows:-

Initial Hire period of 5 Months or period remaining from delivery until 31 March 2022 (whichever is the lesser) with the option for full purchase or return at the end of this term. Any hire payments must be credited against the overall purchase price.

The successful applicant should be able to arrange delivery of the machine by 01 November 2021 where a full hand over and familiarisation / training / routine Maintenance, Instruction and servicing manuals be provided. The supplier should ensure a minimum of 3 years Manufacturers Warranty / guarantee is included.

Delivery must be made to our Cleansing Depot at 8-9 Billet Lane, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire DN15 8YH.
