description
To work on-site at Royal Museums Greenwich, recruiting Members (supporters of the Museum).
For an annual fee, members of the public can become Members of Royal Museums Greenwich. Whilst they can join the Membership scheme at any point across all 4 sites (as listed above), online and by calling the Membership Office, during busy periods we like to employ recruiters to help increase Member acquisition.
Recruiting on-site has been one the most successful ways of growing the RMG Membership scheme. We run about 6 campaigns each year which coincide with school holidays, when RMG is at its busiest. We therefore use recruiters to help sell Membership to our visitors. Recruiters are fully trained before each campaign so they are armed with the relevant information when selling Membership.
Membership is a great way to support the work of the Museum. Membership sits within the Development Department and is another way of fundraising for the Museum. The scheme grows steadily each year and we have ambitions to build on this growth.
Members receive a range of benefits including free and unlimited entry to all 4 sites of RMG, discounts in our shops and cafes and unlimited tickets to our Planetarium.

What is the criteria to being a recruiter?
We are looking to work with a company who can provide enthusiastic, engaging and professional staff to work as recruiters at RMG. We never do a 'hard sell' on Membership, therefore it is important the company understands this and complies within our expectations and standards.
It is essential that the company has demonstrable experience of working within the cultural sector for at least five years as well as specific experience of working with membership schemes and members.
Additional information: Please be advised that the time-frame for the project is an estimate.
Anticipated spend is not expected to exceed £30K Per Annum.
