Dry Mixed Recyclables

The Service Provider will be responsible for the collection of the Contract Material from the nominated bulking facility, nominally the Harrow Council, Civic Amenity Site Forward Drive Depot, HA3 8NT and the provision of recycling capacity to receive Contract Material and the marketing and transfer of Recyclable Materials to reprocessors or other end markets in order to achieve the Capture Rate Target.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: The total contract value is estimated to be in a range of £9m to £18m over the proposed contract period of 10 years. The pricing mechanism is set up such that there is a fixed service cost for haulage and processing of mixed dry recycling waste, and a revenue rebate from the sales of recyclates. The authority will then pay a monthly gate fee, which is the service cost net of any revenue rebate achieved. As the value of revenue rebate is subject to market conditions and can fluctuate, this may result in a variable monthly gate fee throughout the contract period. The estimated contract value is therefore indicated in a range rather than a specific value and does not indicate affordability.
