description

The purpose of this ITT is to assist ORE Catapult in establishing a Bird and Pest Management Services Framework. It is anticipated that one (1) Contractor will be appointed to this Framework to provide environmentally friendly and humane Bird & Pest Management Services. However, ORE Catapult reserves the right to appoint more than this number if deemed to be in their best interests.

ORE Catapult currently have six (6) buildings with corrugated, walkable and accessible roof areas at their Blyth site with ongoing pest management issues. Of particular concern are seagulls which are continually nesting on the rooftops and causing damage e.g. damaged insulation, drain blockages due to nesting materials etc. Additionally, the seagulls become increasingly aggressive whilst protecting their nests which has made the rooftops inaccessible.

Consequently, ORE Catapult require environmentally friendly and humane preventative solutions to deter any future nesting. Any such solutions must be implemented prior to commencement of the next breeding season.
