description
The Aston Institute of Photonics Technology have a requirement for two Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum Analysers with Pre-Amplifiers and an External Harmonic Mixer. The main features of the technical specification are as a minimum:
| i. | Two RF Spectrum Analysers covering at least 10 Hz to 25 and 50 GHz RF ranges, respectively. |
| ii. | Harmonic mixer for extension of the RF spectrum analysers operation range to the band of 55-90 GHz (or wider), which is reserved for 5G communication. |
| iii. | Pre-amplifiers for both Spectrum Analysers, which allow decrease of the noise floor by 10 dB at least. |
