Cash Collection Service

Tendring District Council receives income from various sources. The Council requires a secure, reliable and timely collection, transportation and conveyancing service to deal with this income.

This Specification sets out the Services the Supplier is to provide to the Council. .

The services described in this specification relate to the collection of cash, cheques (and other negotiable instruments) from a wide range of Council facilities and conveyed to the Council's bankers.

The Council's is seeking a supplier to undertake the services set out in this specification for a 4 year period starting on 1 December 2021.

The requirements of the Council in relation to the Services are subject to continuous review. As a result, the Council may require major or minor changes in the level of Services required, and / or in the way the Services are to be provided. The Supplier must be flexible in the provision of the Services.

Office Rationalisation remains a live issue and the current number of sites that require cash pick-ups may change over the next few years.
