description

The School of Geography at the University of Leeds is seeking tenders for a differential GPS unit and reflectorless total station for teaching purposes. The mobile unit will use GNSS technology to measure RTK position and be capable of positional accuracies of ~3 mm on static phase. A base and rover system is required. In addition, a reflectorless total station is needed with automatic target aiming. The GPS base and total station may be purchased as one integrated unit (i.e. a so-called Smart Pole system) with separate GPS rover unit and controller. The equipment should be compatible with accessories (e.g. tribrachs and cable connectors) and additional rover units with an existing dGPS system (Leica SR530).

There are three major items required:

(i)reflectorless total station
(ii)GPS base station (which may be integrated with (i))
  • (iii)GPS rover
