description
Slough Borough Council and Slough Children Trust are committed to developing accommodation and support services for young people aged 16-25 who are Children Looked After, Care Leavers or require housing support from the Council. We are interested in understanding the appetite for providers to develop or extend services in the Slough area. Key to commissioning services that ensure good outcomes for young people at reasonable cost will be delivering a model that works for all stakeholders and is sustainable. We welcome your feedback to the following questions and will undertake further consultation as plans develop.
For your information we are open to developing block or framework arrangements with sole or multiple providers across cohorts or as areas of specialism. Your thoughts will inform the next steps. Current thinking is to have a commissioned offer in place by September 2021.
We note that you may consider some of the questions and your answers commercially sensitive. All information will be held as confidential and will not be shared in an identifiable manner. Individual conversations can be arranged if required.
