PURCON626 University of East Anglia Sports Kit, Uniform and Leisurewear - AWARD

The Sportspark is a sports facility based at the University of East Anglia but open to all of the community. The Sportspark has a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool, 400m 8 lane athletics track, gymnastics centre, sports physio clinic and sports caf?. The centre has more than 150 staff to support the activities within the centre, they are all provided with uniform.

The University has over 60 sports clubs which students can join, many of these represent the University in competition with other universities. The University would like the Students Sports Clubs to wear University endorsed sports kit. Currently some teams/ individuals buy their own kit leading to a mismatch between and sometimes within teams.

Students like to purchase leisurewear for their sports clubs, this includes items such as hoodies which identify the sports teams of which they are members.

The UEA requires a supplier to provide the following:

• oSportspark staff uniform including catering staff;
• oProgressive Sports Service Kit (a small sports outreach team in a different style to the operations kit);
• oUniversity Sports Club Kit;
• oLeisurewear for sports clubs
• oIn the future we will also be requiring supply of sports kit to two scholarship schemes. As yet the specification for this is unknown but we are anticipating a need for a few items of kit for a maximum of 25 athletes per annum (in two styles - one style for a max of 15 athletes and another for 10).
