COV - Broadgate House Refurbishment Works - Floors 3 to 5 - AWARD

The successful tenderer is required to assemble and lead an appropriately qualified team of professional consultants providing the following services:-

• Lead Consultant / Designer / Architect/ Contract Administrator.

• Principal Designer (as defined by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015

• Quantity Surveyor.

• Include also the ability to access Structural Engineering support for a small amount of the structural work that is likely to be required. (NB No cost anticipated as pricing of this element will be within the tendered construction activity)

Note

• The following additional Consultancy Services will be provided by the Councils 'In House' teams however the winning team will be required to coordinate and include the output of these specialists in the tender process and subsequently control, coordinate and supervise the relevant contractor (generated by that tender process) whilst on site.

• Asbestos Survey (This is likely to have been completed prior to the works starting).

• Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy.

• New or replacement Furniture (NB Removal and replacement of the existing furniture and occupiers is to be included in the work controlled by the winning team. This includes CCTV, Access Control and security.

• ITC (Including the Condeco Room booking, AV Equipment data and switching.)

The duration of the contract will be for a period of the refurbishment work which is due to be complete during Q4 2018. The contract will commence on or as close as possible to Mid April.e something in here
