description
The Council requires a supplier for festive and Christmas lighting features for various high street areas within the north of Birmingham.
The festive and Christmas lighting schemes will help drive footfall to High Streets and shopping areas within the north of Birmingham, helping regeneration during the months of November and December 2022 which are key trading periods for retail and hospitality businesses.
The successful provider is required to supply the following festive and Christmas lighting features for street lighting columns:
Design
- oTo be modern, festive, and vibrant
- oYou must provide an actual image of each design as part of your proposal
- oEach design will be of 'open concept' allowing wind to blow through
- oA minimum of 4 different festive designs are required
Frames
- oEach frame size should be 2500mm high and a minimum of 750mm wide
- oThe frames should be constructed from 25mm aluminium box section
- oAll corners are to have some form of bracing or reinforcement - please specify
- oAll frames must be supplied with at least 2 brackets to allow fixing to a lamp column
Electrical
- oAll features are to be 230v
- oAll enclosures are to be a minimum of IP 54
- oAll rope lighting should be 230v - 13mm LED with at least 30 LED's liner per metre
- oAll string lighting used should be 230v with a maximum spacing of 100mm
- oEach feature must be fitted with a minimum of 1000mm length of 1.5mm black cable, fitted with a 16Amp plug suitable for outdoor use
Delivery of all lighting features to a specified address in Birmingham no later than 1600h on Monday 11th July 2022.
